Final Program
Bioceramics 2014 brought together applied researchers, medical practitioners and medical ceramic materials manufacturers to develop emerging technologies, treatments, and products and devices. Hosted July 30 to August 1, this unique event covered the healthcare environment, clinical applications, materials characterization, and surgical trends. The meeting consisted of fourplenary talks, eightpanel discussions, and a rapid-fire presentation and poster session. Each panelist gave a 5-minute introductory statement about his/her area of expertise and technology of interest, then a moderator led a Q &A with the audience. A commercial sponsor display took place during breaks and lunch.
