Enel begins construction on US renewable projects
Enel Green Power North America, the U.S. subsidiary of Italy-based energy company Enel, has started construction works on five wind, solar, and hybrid projects in Texas, Oklahoma, and Illinois.

The juwi Group will build the world’s largest off-grid hybrid project in the mining industry with a solar park and battery storage system around 30 kilometers southwest of the Egyptian port city of Marsa Alam. The 36-megawatt solar farm and 7.5-megawatt battery storage system will be integrated into the existing diesel power plant at Sukari Gold Mine.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, and the National Institute for Materials Science, Japan launched the Joint Research Centre. The two institutes signed an agreement last year on a collaborative program that allows graduate students enrolled in doctoral programs to stay at NIMS for up to one year to conduct their thesis research.
